Leconte is on sparkling form in this bittersweet comedy of a buddy movie that’s lacking only one thing – the buddy! François (Auteuil) is an arrogant antiques dealer. One night his business partner challenges him to prove that he has any actual friends – by producing his best friend within 10 days’ time. And so the search is on as François combs Paris, aided by a chatty taxi driver (Boon).
