Charlotte, a successful dancer, is thriving in London with her latest show just days away from opening night, when she receives news that her grandmother Mari is dying. She heads to Dorset to join her mother and sister, but on arrival she discovers she’s unexpectedly pregnant. Initially set on a termination, she starts to feel an unnerving sense of doubt as she watches her family contemplate losing their matriarch. Subverting the family drama by using dance and original choreography, Mari gets under your skin to tell a nuanced story of one woman in a bold and dynamic way.
