In this rarely seen, noir-ish melodrama with flashes of humour, Dietrich is again at the centre of a sexual triangle. Robinson plays a power-line worker who’s rescued Marlene from the dance hall and married her only to find that his hunky co-worker (Raft) is fooling around with the missus.
