A love story at the end of the world. For a few weeks one winter, Lucas visits his sister in the provincial Chilean fishing port of Valdivia, on route to start a new life Montreal. Lucas experiences a sweet and passionate affair with Antonio, a local sardine fisherman with deep roots in the area. Their intense romance highlights their differences in terms of class, family, life goals and attitudes, but is nevertheless a joyful celebration of young love and the freedom to choose one’s own destiny.

Zúñiga describes it as a relationship “seen through intimacy, closeness and optimism: an upbeat representation that is not seen enough in same-sex love stories, and also unprecedented in Chilean cinema.”
