Ruth Rendell adapted by Almodóvar is bound to provide a few surprises. Caught between them is the initial cause of the trouble (Neri) who has since become Bardem’s wife. LIVE FLESH is a sexy tragi-comic exploration of desire, revenge, and machismo.
