Last Night in Soho

A perfect pairing with Peeping Tom which screens directly before, Edgar Wright’s supernatural mystery whisks the viewer back and forth between the present-day and a swinging yet sinister vision of the 1960s. Out of depth at college in London, fashion student Eloise finds a way to literally escape into the past where she finds herself sharing the glamorous yet troubling life of aspiring singer Sandie. Featuring iconography and acting icons of ‘60s British cinema, revisiting and recreating period locations (Peeping Tom is an essential guide), and showing off Wright’s own high-style while flourishing some dazzling new tricks, this feverish phantasmagoria of emotion, music, surprises and horror demands to be experienced in the cinema.
