In late ’70s Paris, Anne (Paradis, Café de Flore) made a career by producing pornographic films. When her partner and editor, Loïs, leaves her, Anne decides to finance a much more ambitious film, whose direction she entrusts to the flamboyant Archibald (Maury). But a mysterious serial killer thwarts her plans. An art-house slasher movie set in the gay porn industry, Knife + Heart is steeped in playful references to earlier films and filmmakers from Cruising to Argento.
This screening is part of Film Feels: Obsession, a UK-wide cinema season, supported by the National Lottery and BFI Film Audience Network.
