Just an Ordinary Life

Directed by Pamela Meyer-Arndt

In a poetic journey back in time, this film reveals what it felt like to live behind the Iron Curtain in former East Germany, through the eyes of three East-German photographers whose work is featured in the exhibition Do Not Refreeze. Showing excerpts of the work of Sibylle Bergemann, Helga Paris and Gundula Schulze Eldowy from three decades, just an ordinary life reveals an unusually tender and feminine view of an exceptionally beautiful but grey reality.
