With off-beat and at times absurd humour, Monsieur Lazhar director Philippe Falardeau presents this quirky coming-of-age tale. Ten-year-old Leon has lots of problems and an overly fertile imagination. In the summer of 1968, Leon’s mother decides to abandon everything and everyone behind in Quebec to start a new life in Greece, leaving Leon prepared to do anything to kill the pain. His pre-teenage rebellion sees him trash the neighbours’ house and take his first steps towards falling in love.
