Eight-year-old Hamid learns that 786 is God’s phone number and decides to try and reach out by dialling the number. He wants to talk to his father, whom his mother tells him has gone to Allah. One day the phone call is answered by hard-knuckled soldier Abhay who humours Hamid. Can two lives shattered in the strife of Kashmir change each other’s world for the better?
