Lynn Redgrave is Georgy, the dumpy flatmate of bitchy dolly bird Meredith (Charlotte Rampling). Georgy watches Swinging London from the sidelines, only to find herself the object of desire of her married, older boss. But soon Georgy’s dreams come perilously close to being realised in this (at the time) bold comedy of sexual manners. Catchy title song by the Seekers and costumes by Mary Quant complete the picture.
