The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

Directed by Rex Ingram

St Patrick’s Festival 2018 in association with HOME

Dublin born director Rex Ingram is ranked alongside D. W. Griffith and Erich von Stroheim as one of the great artists of the silent era. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse is an epic tale of an Argentinean family that becomes divided and ends up fighting on opposite sides during WWI. One of the most successful films of its time, it catapulted Rudolph Valentino into cinematic history as the first screen idol.

Presented with the support of event partners British Council, Trinity College Dublin and Culture Ireland.
