Throughout her career Debbie Horsfield has excelled in writing accessible, ensemble dramas that revolve around strong female characters. Her first major television success came in 1989 with Making Out, a series which focused on the lives of a group of women who worked at an electronics factory. The use of the workplace setting was repeated with Cutting It, an enormously popular, Manchester set series which followed the lives of a group of workers in city’s hair salons.
In this special double bill we will screen episode 1 of each series.
