Eyes Wide Shut

Directed by Stanley Kubrick

At a Christmas party hosted by the wealthy, unconventional Victor Ziegler, the happily married life of Bill and Alice Harford is unsettled by a series of provocative advances and innocent flirtations with other guests.

Troubled by Alice’s confession about her secret, unfulfilled desires, Bill sets out to explore his own fantasies. But his journey through the seedy underbelly of New York’s high society takes him to a place where the boundaries between reality and illusion, jealousy and obsession, are indecipherable.

Divisive, bewildering and compelling Eyes Wide Shut is the fascinating final enigma from master filmmaker Stanley Kubrick.

" ...fascinating and disquieting."
