This screening will be introduced by by Noreen Kershaw who will be showing and talking about her short film UNHINGED starring Ian Hart. UNHINGED is a witty North West comedy centres on a man (Ian Hart) obsessed with doors. When he seeks help for his problem, his psychiatrist suggests he indulge in his passion to cure himself. Lushly photographed and fluidly directed, the film was part of last year’s Trans-Atlantic Express showcase to New York and the North West Vision showcase at the Riviera Palais Du Festival at Cannes, where its writer Leigh Campbell also won a £7000 pitching competition for development on her next project. Noreen Kershaw has worked as an actress on TV productions such as Alan Bleasedale’s BLOOD ON THE DOLE and GBH, as well as starring in Willy Russell’s stage production of SHIRLEY VALENTINE.
