EL VIENTO is a beautifully muted family drama, centred upon an excellent performance from veteran actor Luppi. He plays a Patagonian sheep farmer whose daughter dies, causing him to head for Buenos Aires to break the news to his granddaughter. In the middle of two relationships, her already complicated life isn’t helped by the arrival of granddad. The taciturn old man is completely out of place in the city, but the pair manage to forge a relationship.
