Dust in the Wind + Post-screening discussion

In hope of a better life, two young high school sweethearts, Ah-yun and Wan, decide to leave their desolate mining hometown and head for Taipei. Once there they find numerous obstacles facing them and their relationship.

Set in 1960s Taiwan, the film offers a strikingly stark contrast between rural and urban life.

Screening as part of Taiwan Films at HOME, a season across 2023. With thanks to the Taipei Representative Office in the UK and the Ministry of Culture, Taiwan (R.O.C.).
