And Altman exploits this to the fullest in his latest ensemble offering – once again exploring the relationships between the sexes. Gere plays Dr. Travis, a gynaecologist who worships women. Lucky that he does as he’s constantly surrounded by ‘em. His patient list is the crème of Dallas society, and he’s happily married with a cheerleader daughter. What more could a man ask for? But chaos erupts within Dr. T’s perfect world, and this most controlled of men finds himself put to the test, and the plot twists to match.
