Combining unseen archive footage from the band and MacGowan’s family with animations by Ralph Steadman, amongst others, Crock of Gold is a celebration of the Irish punk/poet Shane MacGowan, lead singer and songwriter of The Pogues.

Directed by Julien Temple, the film won the Special Jury Prize at San Sebasatien.
