Recounting displacement becomes a sombre task in this film about filmmaker Choucair whose initial ambition to participate in a project that brings laughter and hope to refugees living on the Greek island of Lesbos falters. It becomes increasingly difficult to ignore the often grim realities of navigating harsh and often uncompromising local bureaucracies put in place to further alienate migrant communities and prevent endeavours that might seek to alleviate suffering. The film then reflects on earlier displacements forced onto communities and families as a result of the Lebanese war.
