A glimpse into lives lived in the dark by five compulsive New York cinephiles, CINEMANIA is frequently hilarious, sometimes vaguely unsettling and perhaps at times too familiar. Its final sequence, though, is wryly affectionate and guaranteed to send you back into the real world with a smile.
