Set during the early years of the Republic of China, a time of great turmoil due to incessant civil wars, Call of Heroes sees a small village militia, led by Lau, defending itself against the onslaught of an army led by a ruthless warlord who wants to free his sadistic son (Koo) who is charged with murder.
