Trapero’s sixth feature is a knife-edge film noir thriller set in the murky legal quagmire of accident insurance scams, which follows Sosa, a disgraced unlicensed lawyer who chases down road accident victims, representing them against insurance companies whilst knowing that his clients will receive only a fraction of the financial reward. When he meets paramedic Luján he sees in her hope of a new life. But to escape, he must cross his ruthless boss.
