Fernando León de Aranoa is co-writer of LA ESPALDA DEL MUNDO (¡Viva! 2001) writer of FAUSTO 5.0 (see p.18). He is best known as writer-director of the lively features FAMILIA and BARRIO. CAMINANTES, which León has co-written,documents the preparations made by an indigenous community of the Purépecha tribe in Michoacán state for the arrival of the Zapatista march on the Mexican capital, led by Sub-Commander Marcos.
