Cabaret

Directed by Bob Fosse

Welcome once again to the Kit Kat Club, where Sally Bowles entertains bohemian clientele at the end of the Weimar period in Germany during the inter-war years. Stylishly directed by Bob Fosse, Cabaret’s Bowles brought Liza Minnelli the role she would become most closely associated with throughout her career.

Cabaret would go on to win eight Oscars, including Best Director for Fosse, best Actress for Minnelli and Supporting Actor for Joel Grey who memorably played the club’s MC.
