This haunting tale of amor loco is the final film from the director of 1999 ¡Viva! hit Lucky star. Ricardo Franco suffered a fatal heart attack during its shoot (the film was completed by his assistant). After he is violently mugged one night by two young women, Andrés (Martinez) finds his life upended. Driven to understand the apparently motiveless crime, he obsessively seeks his attackers. But he is completely unprepared for what he finds. Isabel (Gil) is a beautiful and wealthy young woman who is emotionally disturbed, and Andrés abandons his well-ordered life for her. He is determined to save Isabel from her past and from herself – at all costs.
