An audacious, first feature from this multi-tasking duo (who also co-scripted), AALTRA is a blackly comic road movie. Feuding neighbours Gus and Ben are both paralysed from the waist down when Ben’s tractor crushes them during a fight. So this odd couple takes to the road in their wheelchairs, cajoling, cheating, and terrorising bystanders into assisting them in their epic journey to the tractor factory and compensation.
