A haunting drama about loss and reconciliation, in which directors Hadjithomas and Joreige continue their exploration of life in Beirut after the Lebanese civil war. Claudia and her son Malek are haunted by Malek’s father’s disappearance during the war and debate whether to declare him legally dead. Shot over one day, both Malek and his mother decide to lay their ghosts at rest for one “perfect day”.
