Join us for A Community Seen, HOME’s quarterly film programme giving space to local community groups, charities and voluntary organisations, as well as filmmakers with socially engaged practice at the centre of their work. A Community Seen events are co-created with creative people; whether it be a showcase of local films, a feature film programmed by a group or a cross art form celebration in our cinema.
Come along to our January instalment of A Community Seen, where we will be screening a selection of short films from community groups, charities, youth programmes and filmmakers from across Greater Manchester. Including powerful films from organisations such as Our Room, The Super Slow Way and Manchester Rape Crisis, as well as filmmakers from HOME’s Young Film Collective, our community programme Home from HOME and the Arts and Migration group.
Each film will be introduced by the fantastic artists who created them. We hope you join us for an empowering evening of film from Manchester’s communities.
