37 Uses for a Dead Sheep

Directed by Ben Hopkins

This multiple award-winning documentary explores the past 100 years in the history and culture of the Pamir Kirghiz, a semi-nomadic tribe originating in Central Asia who have been driven from country to country ending up in Eastern Turkey, their home for the past 27 years. Made in collaboration with a Kirghiz sculptor and local people, the film employs new footage and re-enactments in an affectionate portrait.
