Ana Lucía Cuevas: An Enduring Struggle for Justice

Ana Lucía Cuevas’ brother was kidnapped and tortured during years of heavy repression in Guatemala. As an artist and activist Ana Lucía has made it her life’s work to right the wrongs of the Guatemalan people. Her work includes film making, sculpture, painting, design and more. Here she has created an exhibition of archival material documenting the ongoing fight for justice in Guatemala.

The exhibition complements the screening of Ana Lucía Cuevas’ film, The Echo of Pain of the Many on Wed 19 Jun.
