Pilot Light TV Festival partners DCUK are an informal group of web series and online video creators and producers. Too many series get made without that valuable expert advice that can turn a good script into a great script. This event is designed to improve your web series script before you enter production.
In the Writers Room actors will be reading scripts submitted by local creators in a table-read; a panel of screenwriting experts will then present feedback on the script. The audience will also have a chance to add their comments or ask questions to the experts on advice on screenwriting for web series.
The panel of experts for this edition of Writers Room features Andrew Burrell (Lead Writer on CBBC’s Dangermouse & Writer for Matt Groening’s Disenchantment) and Dana Bruce (Producer (from Northern Order Films) for Warp Films, BFI, Creative England & Tigerlily).
