This event is now SOLD OUT
This workshop in performing with puppets will explore the different ways in which an object can be brought to life through:
- Breath and a sense of being
- Focus and eye-line
- Moving with impulse and gravity
From everyday materials to three person figures we will consider operating techniques, character tempo and how to communicate narrative through movement. We will see how puppets can imitate reality and discover the extraordinary other worlds they can lead us to.
This workshop is led by Sarah Wright, Kneehigh Associate Artist and puppeteer for Dead Dog in a Suitcase (and other love songs).
Curious School of Puppetry is running a 10-week full-time course in London in January 2016. More details can be found here.
