Women Over 50 Film Festival (WOFFF) champions the work of older women on screen and behind the camera with an annual short film festival and year-round events and film screenings.
In Aug 2022, WOFFF returns to HOME with two programmes of highlights from WOFFF21, including a Pride programme, celebrating award-winning films made by and about queer filmmakers with older women at their heart.
Both programmes are packed with fascinating stories of underwater dancing, menopause rage, a 64-year-old battle rapper, an Egyptian woman who catches fish by hand and a selfless vicar’s wife possessed by a strange force, unlocking a pleasurable side she never knew she had.
