Accompanying a screening of several artists’ films and videos, Mirza & Butler (no.w.here, London) will discuss their practice as artists, curators and facilitators, and its relation to cultural exchanges between the UK and Asia. This screening will be accompanied by a presentation of their recent projects in India and Pakistan. Through the Experimenta Film Festival (India) and the Cinema of Prayoga programme (Tate Modern), no.w.here has provided a platform for Indian artists’ film and video, introducing relatively unknown work to an international audience. no.w.here is a project space for artists using the moving image through its laboratory, residencies, screenings, discussions and curated conversations
