Everyday people one of this year’s Summer Schools explored documentary filmmaking. During the week 14 – 16 year olds were offered the opportunity to tell a true story using the visual medium of film and video. They learnt how to use the camera, lighting, sound and editing creatively to make a short documentary. The week was led by filmmaker Andy Lawrence and Vivid artist Sue Platt with some special guests from the film industry dropping in to offer advice.
