Tuesday Talk: Steven Snoddy

Chair of the Comme Ca Jury, Stephen Snoddy is the founding Director of Milton Keynes Gallery and a former Director of Baltic The Centre for Contemporary Art after a his time as Exhibitions Director at Cornerhouse. He has been curator at Arnolfini and John Hansard Gallery and from the time he was an art student in Belfast, and took charge of a Belfast Arts Centre, his interests in art about art has developed into an interest in art about life. Co-ordinated by Prof. Pavel Büchler of the Faculty of Art & Design at Manchester Metropolitan University in collaboration with Cornerhouse, the talks address the driving forces within contemporary art and visual culture, and the sources of inspiration behind individual artist’s practices.
