Ori Gersht’s photography and video works observe moments of historical significance. Often gathered during journeys, he has made work documenting the division of land in Israel, the aftermath of war in Bosnia and the penultimate football game played at Wembley Stadium. He has shown extensively internationally and in the UK. He has recently been commissioned to make a work for Single Shot which will be shown at Manchester Art Gallery in spring 07.
