The Urban Screen Conference 07 presents the European premiere of The Light Surgeons latest project, True Fictions: New Adventures in Folklore. Over the past ten years The Light Surgeons have developed and pioneered their own unique style of live mixed media performance. New Adventures…investigates the stories and myth’s surrounding Uncle Sam Wilson, the bearded personification of the United States. This live performance will be a kaleidoscopic multi screen cinematic experience, incorporating live musicians and cutting edge audio visual manipulations. The Light Surgeons are also showing work at Cornerhouse in Outside the Box.
