This event will bring together leading contemporary art writers, artists and art historians whose writing is included within the new book A Companion to Contemporary Art Since 1945, edited by Amelia Jones. Speakers will discuss and debate the necessity of making and analysing contemporary art by stating their views as to whether, in this time of globalisation, are can affect political, economic or social change.
