The BBFC debate

Recommended for AS and A2 Media, Film and equivalent.

Capacity: 158 places.

This event is aimed at AS and A2 students studying censorship, regulation and shocking cinema. The session will begin by introducing the work of the BBFC and censorship in general. John Dyer will then introduce a suitably controversial film which has stimulated debate amongst audiences or even amongst the BBFC examiners themselves, followed by a discussion about the BBFC’s final certificate decision and the issues raised by the film.

Please note: Age restriction
If the film chosen is an 18 certificate, only students aged 16 or over will be admitted. Students who are 16 and 17 will need written parental permission.
