Talk/ Nigel Kneale: Into the Unknown

This event is being sold at full capacity, with no social distancing measures in place.

This one-hour event will feature writer, actor and stand-up comedian Toby Hadoke in conversation with Kneale biographer and season co-programmer Andy Murray. Together they’ll try to unpick who Nigel Kneale was, what he did and why his work still matters in 2022.

Recently seen in the role of Fergus in Coronation Street, Toby Hadoke wrote an acclaimed adaptation of Kneale’s legendary lost TV play The Road for BBC Radio 4 in 2018. He’s currently working on a two-volume history of Kneale’s Quatermass serials.

Andy Murray is a prolific writer and journalist whose Kneale biography, Into the Unknown was published by Headpress in 2006, with a revised and updated edition following in 2017.
