Calling all families and young budding creatives, we’re coming to a library near you this October!
If you’re looking to get the young ones out of the house and engaged in something creative this coming half term, join our free drop-in workshops for all the family.
Designed to spark the imagination, through movement and sound, inspired by Storytime Sessions: The Discarded Oil Drum. Using the relaxed and rhythmic sounds of steelpans, these interactive artist-led sessions will transport you to the sunny Caribbean in a fun, musical and movement session.
Venues and dates include:
- Moss Side Powerhouse, Monday 25th October, 3-5pm
- Central Library, Tuesday 26th October, 11am – 1pm
- Longsight Library, Wednesday 27th October, 2pm – 4pm
And if you can’t wait until half-term, available from 1 Oct, you can stream our new Storytime Sessions: The Discarded Oil Drum. A bite-sized mini-musical audio play for all the family. Join Steely the Steel Drum on his musical journey to discover the beauty of how he was made and what he was made from.
