Following our successful screenings of science-themed films as part of AL and AL’s Incidents of Travel in the Multiverse exhibition, we celebrate Manchester’s status as European City of Science 2016 with Science Friction, a collection of films that examines the role of science in society.
Featuring films for all ages, the season presents science and scientific discovery as essential to our continued progress, but also examines the rifts that change can sometimes uncover. Given Manchester’s status as a city of industry, we have also focused on films with an industrial element.
