This year’s Pride marks 50 years since the Stonewall Riots, which saw the LGBT community of New York City rise up against a police raid, serving as a turning point in the gay rights movement.
We’ll be celebrating Pride with a specially curated season of films, including the award-winning documentary Before Stonewall; an evening of queer voices and awe-inspiring writers, poets and activists with Penguin Pride; and, of course, we’ll be taking part in the Pride Parade on Sat 24 Aug.
