Looking at the distinctions between the human and the animal, this panel will discuss the performance in terms of questions of species transformation, imitation and assimilation.
The panel will be chaired by Jackie Stacey (Director of CIDRAL) and include Kathryn Hunter, Walter Meierjohann, Laura McMahon (Film Studies, Cambridge) and Margaret Littler (German, University of Manchester).
