Designer, artist, cultural observer and Creative Director for the City of Manchester, Peter Saville will discuss the development of his practice with David Crow, Head of School of Design, MMU; from Saville’s groundbreaking work for Factory Records in the late 1970s, through to his most recent explorations of art and design’s role in the highly commodified, visually hyperliterate, early 21st century.
This discussion will be followed by a book launch for Peter Saville Estate in the gallery bookshop, with complimentary drinks.
