Peaches Christ Retrospective – Joshua Grannell

Join director Joshua Grannell and Dr Patricia MacCormack of Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, to discuss Joshua’s development as a filmmaker alongside the genesis and unholy rise to fame of his alternative midnight persona, horror hostess Peaches Christ.

This event will feature early career no-budget shorts, including Season of the Troll, A Nightmare on Castro Street and Whatever Happened to Peaches Christ?

Patricia’s expertise encompasses the fields of philosophy, extreme cinema, feminism and cinesexuality, and she has written upon a diverse range of issues such as body modification, performance art, monster theory and European horror film. She is co-leader of the MA module, ‘Sexuality, Gender and the Post-Human’ and has published chapters in anthologies such as Queering the Non-Human, Deleuze and Queer Theory, Caligari’s Heirs and Zombie Culture.
