As part of the Manchester Open Exhibition 2020 we will be hosting a curated programme of live performance selected from the open call, as well as takeovers and interventions by a variety of artists, groups and performers.
The exhibition will be open until 21.00 on Thursday evenings so you can stick around and enjoy the exhibition outside of standard gallery opening times.
In light of the Government’s latest advice for people to avoid non-essential contact, we have taken the decision to close HOME to the public as of Tuesday 17 March.
This means that the Manchester Open 2020 has had to close earlier than we expected. This is disappointing, however the health and safety of our staff, visitors, artists and volunteers is of utmost importance to us, and we believe given the current national landscape it is not viable to remain open to the public at this time.
We don’t know yet exactly how long this closure will last, but it will be at least until the end of March 2020.
During this period, it is critical that we continue to support artists and creative partners. We are determined that Manchester’s incredible culture will emerge from this challenge stronger and more vibrant than ever.
