Manchester Open Door Saturday Tours

In light of the Government’s latest advice for people to avoid non-essential contact, we have taken the decision to close HOME to the public as of Tuesday 17 March.

This means that the Manchester Open 2020 has had to close earlier than we expected. This is disappointing, however the health and safety of our staff, visitors, artists and volunteers is of utmost importance to us, and we believe given the current national landscape it is not viable to remain open to the public at this time.

We don’t know yet exactly how long this closure will last, but it will be at least until the end of March 2020.

During this period, it is critical that we continue to support artists and creative partners. We are determined that Manchester’s incredible culture will emerge from this challenge stronger and more vibrant than ever.

Join us every Saturday for a special gallery tour of the Manchester Open Exhibition led by a diverse range of artists, experts, community representatives and cultural leaders from Greater Manchester.

Each week our tour guides will take you on bespoke tours that will focus on their favourite artworks and their interpretation of the themes and stories presented in the exhibition.
